Catching Up with Windy and Aaron Cooper
We had a chance earlier today to chat with Windy and Aaron Cooper post-“Move that Bus” craziness.
This afternoon, Ashley Fiolek, the top-ranked motocross racer in the Women’s Motocross Association, presented Windy with a wagonload of motocross gear: boots, sunglasses, protective gear, and customized race shirts. Windy, who told us when we first met her last week that motocross was her passion, said that she and Ashley plan to go out racing at some point. She said she felt overwhelmed by the house and incredibly blessed by the outpouring of community support: “A burden was lifted off,” she said.
Aaron said he was speechless about this whole 24 hour whirlwind of events— “I’m still trying to think if this is our actual house or not,” he said. The family isn’t moving into the house quite yet, and Aaron told us that he’s just ready to settle into his room. “It’s just like normal,” he said, “but with a change.”
